Position summary

The Cell Leader will coordinate, monitor and lead the activities of a cellular work team in support of assigned goals and objectives in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Functions                                                                

  • Execute to the production schedule
  • Assign employees to run equipment and jobs
  • Ensure the area has the materials and supplies to meet production needs
  • Execute by completing orders that meet quality standards in the required timeline
  • Ensure the machines are running efficiently and effectively
  • Provide employees onthejob training and mentoring
  • Ensure employees are following work instructions and processes
  • Provide daily updates through the Tier I process
  • Communicate production issues, schedules, and priorities within and between teams
  • Implement process improvements
  • Provide employees with goals, performance initiatives and areas of accountability that are directly aligned with the goals of the company
  • Ensure employees are following company guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Foster good employee communications through the employee review and progressive discipline process
  • Manage the ERP systems for production and for managing employee time and attendance
  • Attend company meetings
  • Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists
  • Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
  • Accurately records and reports hours worked
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S) to include workstations, equipment, walkways, and locker rooms
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
  • Understand and complies with the Cretex professional competencies, company policies, and employee manual
  • Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required
  • Support and complies with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Complete all other work duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)

  • Five (5+) years related operations experience
  • Knowledge of industry, machinery, equipment, and processes
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage internal relationships and team facilitation
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot issues using data analysis techniques
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to take direction from the area manager
  • Ability to collaborate and assist team members
  • Provide input to the area manager
  • Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

  • Business/technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Medical Manufacturing Experience
  • Supervisor Experience
  • Familiar with ISO and FDA requirements
